Mountain Dew Black Label

The Story

So earlier this week one of my coworkers, Christine, brings me in a can of something thinks I’ll like. She hands me a can of Mountain Dew Black Label. Wow!

I have to tell you that I was tired when I arrived at work, but simply touching the can gave me energy. I don’t know if it’s the hand-crafted quality, the herbal bitters or the power of the dark berry blend. Or maybe I’m overthinking this and the 83 mg of caffeine per can should be credited with my new found power? Either way, I felt good.

Black Label Society

I have to wonder if this is a way for Mountain Dew to develop a partnership with Zakk Wylde and the Black Label Society? Seems like more than coincidence that would Mountain Dew would be calling their new product “Black Label” just out of the blue. Zakk Wylde is an awesome guitarist playing for Ozzy for many years in addition to having his own kickass band. Why wouldn’t you want to partner with him?

Health Benefits

In addition to shrewd marketing the people at Pepsico decided to amp this product up. What do I mean by this? There is slightly more caffeine, but you also don’t have 5% real juice weighing you down as you do with the KickStart product line. This seems like genius to me.

Deeper Darker Dew

The verdict is in on this fine product and whether you’re psyched about the quick energy, partnering with his excellency, Zakk Wylde or you’re loving the health benefits of this fine, hand crafted drink, Mountain Dew Black Label will not disappoint. The verdict >>> WINNER!
